How To Order
BESPOKE CAKES Our bespoke cakes are for those who want something extra special, something out of the ordinary, something that is personal to the recipient of the cake. Please go to our 'Bespoke cake' section on our website to fill out the form. Bespoke cake enquiries must be submitted at least 10-14 working days in advance. Please do give us as much notice as possible to avoid disappointment. Payment is required in full at the time of ordering your cake, without this your order is not secure. If your order is over 2 months in advance a £20 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date in advance.
ALL OTHER BAKES Our online shop provides information on flavours, sizes and pricing. To order, click on the product on our website, put your preferences and pay online. You can then select the date you wish to collect from our shop in Churchdown.
WEDDING CAKES Please see our Wedding Cake page for information on our pricing and cake sizes. Please fill out our enquiry form or email us to enquire with your date and all information you have and we will send over our wedding cake brochure for you. Please note, the more information you provide the quicker you will get your quote and help with the process.
GIFT CARDS We offer generic gift vouchers with values of £10 and Christmas gift vouchers of any denomination from £5 or above at our shop in-store. Gift vouchers can also be purchased on our online shop for other denominations.
CAKE CARE Once your cake has been delivered, it is best to keep it in a dry place at room temperature, on a flat sturdy surface, away from sunlight, in its original box. Store any leftovers and consume within 3-5 days.
COLLECTING YOUR CAKE You can collect your cake from The Village Cakery Shop in Churchdown anytime between 10 - 4pm Wednesday - Sunday (Other collection times are on an individual basis and subject to availability).
DELIVERY Churchdown delivery is free of charge, other local delivery is at a small cost. We do not offer delivery in the post.
BESPOKE CAKE CANCELLATIONS Any changes to orders can be made if 2 weeks prior to your collection date. Cancellation of orders and return of payments are considered on an individual basis up to 10 days prior to the due date. Please note your £20 deposit is non-refunable and any cancellations up to 7 days before collection date are non-refundable.
